I’m a music lover or to be specific a Beatles-lover. I positively adore every single thing they’ve recorded bar Obla-Di Obla-Da of course (I hate that nasty turd venomously). During the all these years that has gone by since first fell in love with the band I’ve managed to collect most of their stuff, only official gear and record though, I hate bootlegs and bootleggers to. I feel that it’s an personal insult to push stolen outtakes and crappy recordings from concerts, a slap in the face both to the band and the fans. No fucks to profiteers they’re only in it for the money not for any kind of appreciation of the music. Anyhow, a couple of years ago I picked up the guitar so I might be able play some of those fantastic’s songs. I’m pretty good now actually if I might say so. I can totally nail that vicious riff to Get Back, yeah, and should hear my version of Helter Skelter it positively roars and snarls. Oh, yeah, what I was meaning to say all along, the actual point of this entry is that right now I’m aching to get a new guitar, the axe that George plays on the rooftop gig back in ’68 to be exact. Not THE one of course, that would set me back millions literary if it’s even for sale. He did play a Fender Telecaster though, and I think that Fender actually still makes specific model albeit in small limited runs. I haven’t seen any in the guitar shops. But a copy could and most definitely should show at some online auctions site or another. That would be so cool, to own one and play those genius riffs of George on a George Harrison-guitar.
